This book’s been on my list for months, and with 6 hours of air travel, today was the perfect day to knock it out. I must confess, a lot of the Jesus dialogue got tiresome (read: skimmed over without reading) but I love Perrotta’s style. His quirky storytelling— particularly in regards to the order in which events play out—makes the 300+ pages (and all of the Pacific Ocean between Hawaii and LAX) go by swiftly.
Time calls him “The Steinbeck of Suburbia” and I like that.
